1. What first got you interested in Korean culture?
It started with Korean movies and dramas while I was studying film making in university. I noticed that they have unique plots so I kept watching more and more. That love grew to K-pop music videos. I enjoyed the art and work behind their music videos because it’s unlike the west. They build crazy sets, put effort in wardrobe and choreography. From there the love grew to the language and the food as well.

2. How would you describe your content style in three words?
Fun, informative, colorful.

3. What’s your favorite Korean dish?
For sure its bibimbap and tteokbokki

4. Which city or place in Korea do you love most?
I’ve only visited Seoul, I didn’t get the chance to explore other cities, that my plan for the next trip. But In seoul I loved so many spots that I visited but I think one of my favorites would be the Cheonggyecheon streem. It feels like the perfect place to slow down and relax. You can also take your shoes off and dip them in the water something I learned from seeing what the locals are doing.

5. How do you pick what to feature on your feed?
I started asking myself, if I was living in Doha, what would I want see or know about here. And also if I was a Korean culture lover, what would I want to know or visit here in Doha.

6. What’s the biggest lesson travel has taught you?
Flexibility. It was something I used to struggle with, because I always want everything to go as planned and finish what’s on my schedule. The last time I was in Korea I decided to go with the flow, adjust whenever anything comes up and if I don’t finish my schedule that is ok as long as I live in the moment and enjoy and because of that I had an amazing time!

7. Favorite brand you’ve worked with so far?
I have worked with different brands from skincare to makeup to activities and food. And I think they’re all great to be honest.

8. How do you connect with your followers?
By replying to messages and checking all comments and suggestions.

9. Any advice for new K-culture creators?
I would say mix the culture with yours if you are not Korean. And also if you’re not living in Korea, relate it to where you’re living so that the audience can relate.

10. What’s next for you in K-culture or travel?
I want to create more content where I mix my Palestinian culture and Korean. And more content where I am speaking in Korean language. I do plan to visit Korea again hopefully in March or April during the cherry blossom season.

11. Any memorable moments
All my uber interactions were fun, they’re usually old Korean men and once they know I speak Korean they would make conversations with me. One was telling me to move to Korea and marry a Korean man it was so funny.
