The 28th Boryeong Mud Festival is ongoing event from July 25th to August 10th at Daecheon Beach. It is attracting visitors of all ages, including thousands of international tourists. The Boryeong’s mineral-rich mud is often said to be great for its skin benefits. 

The festival activities include mud slides, wrestling pits, obstacle courses, mud marathons, and interactive mud-themed playgrounds. The people are actively participating in these traditional mud activities. This year’s mud festival include a special “Mud beauty zone”with mud packs and spa treatments, art installations, craft markets, and culinary stalls. 

The festival also features family areas and cultural shows. One of the highlight of the festival is a live K-pop concert featuring performances from leading artists such as Nam Woo-hyun, ALLDAY PROJECT, EVNNE , izna , YENA (Choi Yena) QWER , KiiKii. These concerts were held on the Main Special Stage at Mud Expo Plaza, Daecheon Beach.
